- Metastatic breast cancer - comparing 2 dosing schedules of a chemotherapy drug while getting a special targeted therapy (bevacizumab).
- Renal cell (kidney) cancer – targeted adjuvant therapy after surgery to prevent recurrence in patients with high risk of their kidney cancer returning.
- Multiple myeloma – comparing effectiveness of 2 treatments.
- Non-Hodgkin's Lymphoma - for intermediate grade B-cell lymphoma , get R-CHOP chemotherapy and then after 3- cycles further treatment decisions are based on PET scan results.
- Facing Forward - guide to make life easier after cancer treatment for breast, colon, rectum, prostate or lung cancer.
- Head and neck cancer – that has come back or spread – new targeted therapy combined with chemotherapy.
Currently recruiting patients:
- Brain cancer – comparing conventional with more intensive dose of temozolomide in glioblastoma.
- Head and neck cancer – comparing concurrent radiation and chemotherapy with or without targeted therapy.
- Breast cancer – comparing whole breast irradiation with partial breast irradiation.
- Bone metastasis – radiopharmaceuticals and Zometa for lung, breast & prostate cancer.
- Painful bone metastasis – single vs multiple smaller doses of irradiation.
- Prostate cancer – radiation - high dose vs standard dose.
- Prostate cancer – radiation and hormone therapy with or without chemotherapy.
- Prostate cancer – Zometa to prevent bone loss for patients on radiation therapy and hormonal therapy
- Prostate cancer – Hormone therapy with radiation of groin lymph nodes or the prostate bed.
- Non-small-cell lung cancer – chemotherapy and high-dose radiation, then surgery followed by more chemotherapy.
- Non-small-cell lung cancer – comparing standard dose and high dose radiation, both with chemotherapy.
- Non-small-cell lung cancer – Selenium in cancer prevention after surgery of stage I non-small-cell lung cancer.
