Overview
SUNY Downstate MB-CCOP (Minority-Based Community Clinical Oncology Program) is funded by the National Cancer Institute (NCI) to bring state-the-art cancer clinical trials in cancer prevention, diagnosis and treatment to the diverse community of Brooklyn. These cancer clinical trials are performed in collaboration with many major cancer clinical research groups across the nation. By increasing the enrollment of patients from Brooklyn's diverse community in cancer clinical trials, the knowledge we gain will improve cancer treatment for patients from all backgrounds.

Mission
To bring state-of-the-art cancer treatment, control and prevention clinical trials to the entire Brooklyn community while providing the best cancer care to our patients regardless of their means.
